Popsicle Stick Fence

Hi all!

Here's a really simple tutorial on how to achieve this fence that I made for my nephew's 100 day celebration.

Life: Designed
I made it in just a few minutes and luckily I had all the items on hand so it didn't cost me anything!

You'll need:

Jumbo popsicle sticks
Foamcore
Hot glue gun
White spray paint

I started with a foamcore square that I cut to the size I wanted and scored a thin double line where the popsicle sticks would stick into. Peel out the bit of foam between the lines and then run one stick up and down the void to make sure you have a groove.

Measure (or eyeball) how far apart you want the sticks to be and hot glue them in the grooves.

Glue gun some sticks running horizontally. You'll need to measure and cut the sticks so that any "seams" are hidden behind a vertical stick.

You can leave it the blonde wood colour or add a couple coats of spray paint to create a white picket fence!

Now for grass...

When I made the felt streamers, I had a bunch of scraps left over:

Aaaand instead of throwing them out like a normal person, I hung onto them because I kind of liked how they looked all tangled together.

Oh no... I'm turning into my mother- unable to throw anything away... BUT in my defense, I thought it sort of, kinda, maybe looked like grass.

I think it sorta works, no?

Well, there you have it! Super easy to do and creates a little vignette! It also prevents little hands from getting their fingers in the icing! =)

  3. This template is a lot different than a lot that I have tried recently and because of this and the nature of it this one quickly earns a place as one of my favorites, this one is surprisingly easy to set up I thought a lot and checked out a lot of HTML colors to get the correct color that matches closely to the color layout of this template, electric driveway gates
