Seafoam Green + Gold Table Numbers

Ever since I used Martha Stewart's Araucana Teal paint for my sister's baby shower last year, I've been in love with seafoam green!

Coincidentally my friend's wedding colours are seafoam green and gold. I'm helping with decorating which is why I've been collecting a bunch of frames lately.

The centerpieces will have lace covered candle holders similar to this:

For the table numbers, we're going use a mix of various frames with painted numbers.

The wedding's in June but I wanted to do a prototype to get her approval.

I found these seafoam napkins at the dollar store with a lacy looking pattern to it.

Bonus: They are environmentally friendly! (We'll ignore the made in China part....)

I used a simple brass frame from the thrift store and gave it a seafoam coat.

I mentioned it earlier but I LOVE Martha's testers! They come with a brush attached to the lid which is uber convenient!

After the paint dried, I gave it a light sand to let the brass show through for a distressed look.

 Choices...choices...:

Excuse the crappy number. I made it out of foamcore just to see what it would look like. (The real ones will have painted wooden numbers).

Another option is a brass/gold frame with the seafoam napkin:

I just showed them to her and we both love the 1st and 3rd one.

How about you?

  2. Brilliant! I love the first one, it's so fresh and so clean! I love clean colours.. For some reason they sort of remind me of feeling fresh and waking up in the morning. My friend just got engaged yesterday in Jamaica and asked me to help her with planning her wedding.. Yikes! Haha. I've been looking through wedding magazines and when people see me with it, they always ask "are you getting married?" lol. I wish!

    1. Jamaica! Awesome! It's such an honour to be asked but there's SO much anxiety huh? You want it to be perfect and you don't want to let your friend down plus all the guests. Ok. I'm stressing out again... Going to my happy place! Let's talk and stress out together! haha
